After trying several baby carriers through two kids, the Mabe Monarch is the one I reached for the most.
I still love my Solly Wrap and Sakura Bloom carriers for different stages, but if I could only choose one for everyday use, this would be it.

How It Compared to My Other Carriers
Solly Baby Wrap
I absolutely love this for the tiny newborn stage. It’s soft, cozy, and perfect when baby is little. Once baby got bigger, though, I found myself wanting something faster to put on.
Sakura Bloom Ring Sling
Beautiful and easy to keep nearby, but as baby got heavier I personally started noticing the one-sided weight distribution more, and the ring could bother my shoulder.
Sakura Bloom Onbuhimo
Probably the prettiest carrier I own. I love it once baby gets bigger, but it takes me a little longer to get situated than a buckle carrier.
Why the Mabe Won
For me, convenience ended up being the deciding factor.
I could grab the Mabe, buckle it on, put baby in, and go.
No wrapping. No rings. No extra adjusting.
And because it was so easy, it was the carrier I actually used the most.
My Bottom Line
If I were starting over and could only buy one baby carrier for everyday use, I’d choose the Mabe Monarch.
It’s supportive, comfortable, cute, and most importantly — fast.
The best baby gear is usually the gear you actually reach for, and this was mine.
